Delays in responding to emailed inquiries due to recent storms (updated)

Please be aware that due to the recent storms in our area, our internet access is intermittent and slow when it is usable. As a result, there are delays in our ability to respond to emailed inquiries. We are working as quickly as possible to respond to client e-mails and we appreciate your understanding during this time.

 

April 06 update: The issue has been resolved. We thank everyone for their patience and understanding. We are catching up on responding to communications as quickly as we can.

March 31st Deadline Approaching

Hello Everyone,

With nearing the end of our spring pre-order period, it is the perfect time to update you on our upcoming spring schedule!

– Spring Pre-Orders close March 31st.

– All delivery & shipping orders for Western and Mid Canada must be in by March 31st for the 2025 calendar year.

– Our delivery run to the west coast starts the week of April 27th and will take about 2 weeks to complete. We will be contacting clients over the next few weeks to confirm delivery locations and anticipated arrival dates.

– Shipping of orders via Canada Post will occur every Monday starting on April 28th. The tracking number(s) will be emailed once the order has been shipped.

– Ontario/Quebec delivery orders will continue to be accepted until April 30th. Delivery will commence May 9th and onwards.

– Eastern Canada deliveries have not yet hit minimum requirements. If you are out on the east coast and hoping to get an order this year, now is the time to get it placed! If the minimum for delivery is not met, orders will be shipped where able. You will be contacted should this occur. Additional fees may apply due to actual shipping costs. Should an order not qualify for shipping, or the additional costs become prohibitive, a refund shall be given for the affected order.

– If you have placed an order for pick up, you will be contacted when it is ready. Please do NOT come for pick up until we have connected and scheduled your pick up time.

– Our Rodney location will be open as of Friday May 9th for on site shopping! We will be open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am until 6pm. Closed Sundays and Mondays.

Notable changes this year are:

  • A 10% discount for pre-orders placed from Nov. 1st to Dec. 31st 11:59pm.
  • We are only accepting payment via e-transfer for pre-orders. Contact Customer Service if you need to work out other arrangements.
  • Full payment is due within 5 business days and is 100% refundable within 30 days of a pre-order being placed. After 30 days, 50% of the total is non-refundable.

As with previous years, inventory is limited, so reserve early to avoid disappointment.

Plant of the Week: Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane)

Saccharum ‘Officinarum’ (Real Candy Cane), is a large tufted perennial grass that is probably native to Southeast Asia. It can grow to 15-20′ tall in its native environment, but to 5-8′ tall more commonly when grown indoors. Stems contain a sweet juice that may be extracted for production of sugar or molasses.

Come visit us Tuesday – Saturday, 10am – 6pm, no appointment needed!

IMPORTANT: Pre-Order pick ups will be arranged by appointment. Please do not just show up.
Not all plants will be ready for opening day.
Once your ordered plants are all ready to go, you will be contacted to arrange a pick up day and time.
And yes, you can absolutely browse when you come to pick up your order!
